Introduction to Meditation

Are you living a hectic fast paced life? Having difficulty facing the many demands of modern life and feel as there is not enough time for you? If you do, please know that you are not alone. Many people feel stressed, over worked and time poor. Living a life where you are stressed and tired can affect your health.

There is a tool which will assist you in dealing with the everyday demands in a calm and effective manner – MEDITATION. Meditation calms your mind and you learn to be more focused. You learn about your own mind and body, and through this you can change your thoughts from negative to positive, unhappy to happy, stressed to calm and peaceful.

The Introduction to Meditation course is conducted on a Saturday afternoon. During this time you will gain practical experience and theory on many different styles of meditation. As we are all very unique individuals, no one form of meditation suits us all. The key to meditation is finding the style or form that works for you and bring this into your daily life. This workshop is a great way to experience different styles of meditation whilst learning the theory and reasons why meditation is so important in today’s world.
